Usky tombe amoureux. Il se marie, et découvre un sentiment qui l'enchante. Tous ses problèmes semblent désormais derrière lui. Seulement, sa vie conjugale pourrait se comparer au mouvement de l'océan : ça peut être aussi bien le calme plat que la tempête. Ce sentiment nouveau le dépasse. Son couple est à la frontière entre l'amour et la haine. Le déséquilibre réapparait, Usky semble basculer vers la folie. Malgré tout, son amour pour sa femme est tellement fort et fusionnel, qu'il ne se voit pas s'en séparer. Il se sent quelque peu prisonnier de cet amour.
