Une équipe de police s'apprête à intervenir à Boundary Hill. Le voisinage aurait entendu une violente dispute et des cris suspicieux provenant de la maison d'Usky. Le commandant Forest envoie le capitaine Collins et son équipe sur place. Le constat est implacable : une femme a été tuée. Pendant ce temps là, Usky s'est enfui. On l'entend sur les refrains, il se confie.
